Darren sets Westminster Asset Management’s strategic and investment direction, combining executive leadership with disciplined portfolio governance for private clients, fiduciaries and institutions.

Darren joined Westminster Asset Management as Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer following a management buy-in, bringing 30 years’ experience across investment and money markets. His senior leadership roles include Chief Executive of Brooks Macdonald International and Managing Director of HSBC Asset Management (International) Limited, and in 2007 he founded DPZ Capital, a private client asset management boutique later acquired by Brooks Macdonald.

Darren’s experience spans investment strategy, governance and the management of portfolios for wealthy individuals and families, trusts, charities, pensions and institutional clients. He combines executive responsibility for the firm with continuing oversight of its investment philosophy and process.

Personal

Darren serves as a Trustee of the Jersey Marine Society and Sea Cadets, a longstanding Jersey institution and leading provider of youth development and maritime activities. He also has a keen interest in motoring, history, international travel and backgammon.
