Nick Skiming

Nick joined Westminster Asset Management as Investment Director in January 2021, bringing more than 35 years’ experience in financial services. He joined from Ashburton, part of the FirstRand group, where he was Acting Head of Private Client Portfolio Management, having previously been Head of US Equities and lead Fund Manager of the Ashburton Americas Fund. Earlier roles include Associate Director and lead Discretionary Portfolio Manager at Collins Stewart Asset Management, Associate Director at Quilter Channel Islands, and Investment Officer at Barclays International.

Nick specialises in managing direct equities and multi-asset portfolios, combining direct holdings, third-party funds and passive instruments with a disciplined approach to portfolio construction and ongoing management. He has provided portfolio solutions across the FirstRand group’s distribution channels and subsidiaries, alongside ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth private clients and intermediaries.
